The Equality of Compassion

Situations arise when we feel separated from others, either as individuals or as a group. From this sense of separation, disagreements and misunderstandings arise that can lead to anger, frustration and a sense of hopelessness. Through developing a sense of equanimity, thinking about the problems that each and every person faces, we can reduce inflexible ways of thinking and grow to develop acceptance, understanding and even a warm feeling for everyone we meet, think about or see.
       
This class will look at Buddhist practices for developing equanimity for all living beings.
