Queer Youth Meal Night (QYMN) Join us for dinner every Tuesday. For LGBTQ youth ages 18-24. Connect with community service providers from LYRIC, Larkin Street, HRTC and Street Soccer USA. HIV Testing available every 2nd and 4th Tuesday by St. James Infirmary.

TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) was developed in 2012, as a free programming class for trans and gender non-conforming folks. Today, TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) has grown to a community of trans & GNC people currently in tech and aspiring coders, engineers, designers, and newcomers to the industry.

TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) teaches folks computer programming and software engineering skills through a co-working space, series of free classes, study groups, and hands on events with tech industry experts. TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) actively networks with allies in the tech industry and often invites allies to teach new guest series classes and to provide much needed mentoring opportunities. All events are open to allies.

The goal of TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) is to develop more diversity in tech and to build a community of trans and gender non conforming individuals currently in or aspiring for a career in technology through skill building, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

In this workshop we'll cover:

  • The origins of credit and FICO scores

  • How to establish and repair your credit

  • How to pay off debt

  • The connection between credit and loans

 

This workshop is open to all, but can also help you obtain the Certificate of Completion of Homebuyer Education for the Mayor's Office of Housing. In order to receive your certificate, you must complete the following:

Nuts & Bolts of Buying A Home (4 hour workshop)

You must also attend ONE of the following:

Budgeting & Savings (2 hours) OR Managing Credit & Debt (2 hours)

 

*Once you have completed your 6 hours of workshops you can set up your required 1:1 counseling appointment to complete your education requirement.

TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) was developed in 2012, as a free programming class for trans and gender non-conforming folks. Today, TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) has grown to a community of trans & GNC people currently in tech and aspiring coders, engineers, designers, and newcomers to the industry.

TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) teaches folks computer programming and software engineering skills through a co-working space, series of free classes, study groups, and hands on events with tech industry experts. TranscodeSF (http://transcodesf.org/) actively networks with allies in the tech industry and often invites allies to teach new guest series classes and to provide much needed mentoring opportunities. All events are open to allies.
