The Center’s LGBT Employment Services Programs offers a range of services, events, and workshops tailored to help you get back to work and connected to further training. Including one-on-one job search support, vocational case management, professional mentoring, life skills training, skill building workshops, resume review, interview practice, job leads, access to LGBT friendly employers, LGBT Job Fairs, and referrals to community resources & vocational training programs. We are also proud to offer the nation’s first transgender employment program TEEI.
The Center’s LGBT Employment Services includes three major program areas:
- LGBT Employment Program - Employment services open to all LGBT job seekers and allies in the Bay Area
- LGBT Employment Program - Employment services open to all LGBT job seekers and allies in the Bay Area
- LGBT Job Fair Series – Three annual diversity recruitment job fairs that provide employers and job seekers the opportunity to recruit and network with qualified Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender professionals.
Ongoing Employment Services groups, workshops, and labs at the Center:
- LGBT Job Club: Every Tuesday from 10am to 11:30am at the Center. (Drop-in group)
- TEEI Trans Job Club: Every Wed. from 11am to 12pm at the Center. (Drop-in or RSVP with Christina at Christinar@sfcenter.org)
- Resume Lab: Every 2nd Thursday of the month from 3 to 5pm in the Cyber Center. (Open to all, RSVP at Christinar@sfcenter.org)
- Interview Lab: Every 4th Thursday of the month from 3 to 5pm in room Q-13. (Open to all, RSVP at Christinar@sfcenter.org

If you are job seeker interested in enrolling or learning more about the Center’s LGBT Employment or TEEI Program please email or call Christina Rodriquez to schedule an intake and assessment. After your intake and assessment you will meet one-on-one with an Employment Specialist for professional, tailored, and friendly job search support.

LGBT Job Fair 2012 Series:
The Center is offering three diversity recruitment job fairs in 2012. The LGBT Job Fair Series provides employers and job seekers the opportunity to recruit and network with qualified Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender professionals. Employers participating in the series are also invited to attend our Diversity Inclusion Trainings, Employer Luncheons, and Employer Panels

The Center’s LGBT Job Fair Series is one of our longest running programs with over 5,000 community members and allies in attendance. In 2011, we celebrated our 25th LGBT Job Fair.
