From the first moment a visitor enters the Center, Volunteers play a crucial role in our ability to provide quality services to the LGBT community.
As a result, the Center has a variety of volunteer opportunities available to members of the public. And because the range of volunteer opportunities available is so large, we need all kinds of people… who can do all kinds of things!

Levi’s 501 Community Service Day at the Center, May 1, 2009.
Some of our volunteers love working with people, so they help us greet visitors and answer basic questions at the Front Desk. Others love working with computers, so they volunteer to take a weekly shift supervising our CyberCenter. Many of our events need volunteers to make them welcoming and run smoothly. Some volunteers help by stuffing envelopes and assist us with administrative tasks. We have opportunities through our Latino Forum and San Francisco Transgender Empowerment Advocacy and Mentorship to help plan and implement programs for the Latino Community and Transgender community as well. We have many more volunteer opportunities to choose from!
Regardless of your age or background, chances are we have a volunteer activity just right for you. |
