Facilitating:
Ross A. Militello served as a DHS prosecutor under both the Obama and the Trump administrations. His knowledge falls in the Immigration Court system and the Department of Homeland Security. Ross also served as a prosecutor before the Immigration Courts in Miami, FL; San Francisco, CA; and Houston, TX. He has experience understanding individual rights in removal proceedings and has helped many asylum seekers in their decisions.
Melissa Aceves, a bilingual Latina from Salinas, CA, graduated from SF State in Latino/a/x Studies with a minor in Race and Resistance. Started her journey serving the undocumented community at Compass Family Services as a Bilingual Case Manager on the rapid rehousing team. Melissa is passionate about creating avenues to accessible information for all.
