When: Thursday, February 6th, 2025| 4-7:30 PM PT
Where: In-Person, SF LGBT Center
About: Goals of the Event
- Healing: Create a space where community members can receive direct wellness services, build connections, and explore diverse forms of healing that honor their identities and lived experiences.
- Empowerment: Equip attendees with the tools, resources, and knowledge to take control of their own wellness journeys and dismantle the oppressive structures that have traditionally excluded marginalized communities from accessing care.
- Education: Encourage open dialogue about the decolonization of health and wellness practices, aiming to shift the way we approach care by incorporating non-Western, community-centered, and culturally sensitive healing methods.
- Community Building: Strengthen the relationship between the Transgender District, SF LGBT Center, and the broader San Francisco community by creating a shared space for learning, healing, and growth.
Wednesday (2/5/2025):
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM – TBD
- 6:00 – 7:00 PM – Xtreme Step with Rocky
My name is Rock and I am an Xtreme Hop-Hop Step Instructor from the Bay Area. I am of Samoan descent and was born and raised in the East Bay all my life. I have been teaching step for a little over 3 years and it has been such an amazing experience. I never thought I would become a fitness/workout Instructor ever in my life but Xtreme Hip-Hop step has combined working out and dancing in a way that just makes you feel like you’re not even exercising and I love it so much.
Thursday (2/6/2025):
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM – Yoga with Ki
- 6:00 – 7:00 PM – House of Our Queer with Bex

Ki Charles: Ki is an African American, Mexican, Indigenous Yogi, who is expanding the inclusivity of yoga spaces for BIPOC, Queer people. They take inspiration from their ancestral roots to welcome all to practice with them through pairing culturally diverse musical flows with their own learnings. They facilitate connection and free expression with the hope that yoga can be for every body. The SF LGBT Center was the first space to welcome Ki into its community and through yoga they hope to continue to cultivate that vision of unyielding acceptance, faith, and love for one another
The focus will be on creating a safe, supportive environment for community members to connect with wellness experts and explore methods of healing that align with their personal and cultural needs.
