Queer & Well: ‘Planting Queer Seeds’ Expressive Art with Bridget Bertrand
Where: SF LGBT Center
When: Thursday, June 1, 2023 | 5:30-7:30 PM PST
About: Welcome to our LGBTQQIA+ expressive arts workshop, where we’ll explore the powerful themes of planting seeds and rooting into our wholeness. This workshop is designed to create a safe and inclusive space for the queer community to explore their creativity, connect with nature, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-love and acceptance.
Using a variety of expressive arts techniques, including drawing, writing, movement, and meditation, we’ll delve into the metaphor of planting seeds as a way to explore our own personal growth and transformation. We’ll explore what it means to root into our true selves, connect with our inner wisdom, and manifest our deepest desires.
Through this process, we’ll tap into our own unique creativity and explore our own personal narratives. We’ll discover new ways to express ourselves, connect with others, and find inspiration in the natural world around us. With the support of our facilitators and fellow participants, we’ll cultivate a sense of community and build a network of support to help us continue our own personal growth long after the workshop is over.
This workshop is for anyone who is looking to deepen their connection with themselves and others, and who is interested in exploring the intersection of queer identity and creative expression. No prior artistic experience is necessary – all you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore.
Join us for this transformative experience and discover what it means to plant seeds of love, connection, and growth in your own life. We can’t wait to see you there!
