About: Queer & Well is excited to present our third offering with House of Our Queer on Grief Rituals.
We can’t wait for the end of life to face our need for grief rituals. In a time when we are witnessing and advocating against violence in our world and towards our communities, we need grief rituals to move through what we are holding individually and collectively. Yet, many queer and trans people need to reimagine the cultural rituals or religious practices from our roots. Let’s do this healing work together.
In this workshop, Bex Mui, she/her, will share readings from her book, House Of Our Queer: Healing, Reframing, and Reclaiming Your Spiritual Practice, along with other words and philosophies of wisdom on this topic. Bex will guide participants through a variety of queer-centered spiritual and energetic supports, create space for intentional discussions, and guide folks through a ritual of remembering and releasing.
