The SF LGBT Center is partnering with San Francisco AIDS Foundation, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the release of the film “Milk,” on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at The Castro Theater.

This free community event will have a fireside chat with Cleve Jones, co-founder of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, creator of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, and author of, “When We Rise: My Life in the Movement.” He is a human rights activist with a history of activism spanning four decades.

Our fan-favorite Queer & Well offering, Queer Tango, is BACK with our incredible teacher, Miranda Lindelow! Each month, the class will start with a foundational tango element, followed by something new. So whether you’re a first-timer or a more advanced student, we hope there will be something for everyone.

In this workshop, you will learn if you are eligible for the MOHCD Homeownership program and decide if you want to move forward with the remaining homebuyer education. The orientation provides an overview of affordable city programs, including eligibility requirements and the application process.

We’ve historically hosted one of the largest TLGBQ+ career fairs in the country, and we are excited to bring this event back for the second time this year. We showcase leading Bay Area employers from a wide range of industries dedicated to providing and learning to provide safer and more supportive workplace environments for the TLGBQ community and opportunities for gainful employment.
