In response to COVID-19, we are currently providing services remotely, as well as in-person services on a case-by-case basis. The Financial Services team is also available in-person at the Center, one day per week. The best way to reach us is to email firstname.lastname@example.org. For the latest information on broader Center updates, please visit sfcenter.org/covid19.
The Center’s Financial Services department offers tailored programming and education on housing and financial wellness. In our programs, you will go through an intake, create a budget, review your credit, and create an action plan to achieve your goals. We provide the following services:
- Our First-Time Homebuyer and Rental programs provide educational support and programming for community members looking for assistance with rentals or to become a first-time homeowner through the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD).
- Free financial coaching for clients ages 18+ who live or work in San Francisco, through our Smart Money Coaching program to help people identify and reach money goals. The program focuses on improving or building credit, managing debt, building savings, budgeting, and banking.
If you are in need of immediate housing placement, please check out our resources page.
