Queer & Well: Queer Tango
Our fan-favorite Queer & Well offering, Queer Tango, is BACK with our incredible teacher, Miranda Lindelow! Each month, the class will start with a foundational tango element, followed by something new. So whether you’re a first-timer or a more advanced student, we hope there will be something for everyone.

MOHCD Homebuyer Program Orientation (English)
In this workshop, you will learn if you are eligible for the MOHCD Homeownership program and decide if you want to move forward with the remaining homebuyer education. The orientation provides an overview of affordable city programs, including eligibility requirements and the application process.

LinkedIn Coaching Workshop
Are you interested in setting up a LinkedIn profile, or would you like tips to strengthen your profile on LinkedIn? This September, we are joined by staff from LinkedIn to provide in-person and virtual 1:1 coaching sessions. Each 1:1 session will last about 30 minutes.

New queer novel Disorderly Men: author Edward Cahill with K.M. Soehnlein
Get to know author Edward Cahill in conversation with KM Soehnlein on his new novel, Disorderly Men, about three gay men in pre- in pre-Stonewall NYC who find their fates thrown together in the police raid of a Village bar.
Edward Cahill is the author of Liberty of the Imagination: Aesthetic Theory, Literary Form, and Politics in the Early United States (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2012). His essays have appeared in such venues as American Literature, Early American Literature, ELH, Early American Studies, and Common-place. His research and teaching interests include early American literature and culture and modern and contemporary fiction.

Queer & Well x The Optimist Collective: Bi The Way with Mel Andrada
Celebrate Bi / Pan / Fluid / Queer Visibility with us for Bi+ Visibility Month! This month, Melissa Andrada (Mel – she/they) will guide a joyful expressive arts and movement practice to celebrate the fullness of who you are.

The Basics of Budgeting & Saving
Learn to create your personal or household “spending plan” (we prefer a spending plan as opposed to a budget because it’s simply a plan on how to spend your money to align with your personal goals as opposed to some harsh no-spending ideal).
The Center’s Smart Money Coach will empower you with the knowledge of how to make your finances work for you. After the event, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and schedule a 1-on-1 coaching session to further enhance your financial well-being.

Our beloved yoga instructor, Ki Charles, is BACK with a new FREE monthly yoga offering for you all, blending community conversation, connection, meditation, and yoga through Yoga with Ki: A Queer Dharma Series.
Join us for conversation, meditation, and a yoga flow inspired by social justice educator and yoga teacher, Jacoby Ballard’s book, “A Queer Dharma: Yoga and Meditations for Liberation.”
